Hipure FFPE DNA kit adopts silica gel column purification technology, which is suitable for extracting total DNA from paraffin embedded tissues or paraffin tissue sections. Instead of using toxic xylene dewaxing to remove paraffin, the kit uses a new non-toxic dewaxing solution to remove paraffin. The genomic DNA can be effectively purified from FFPE tissue without overnight incubation under specially optimized cleavage conditions. The purified DNA can be directly used in PCR, quantitative PCR and Western blot hybridization.
